UNAUTHORISED STRUCTURES ON STATE LAND IN JURONG

Mr Ho Kah Leong asked the Minister for Law and National Development, between 1st January, 1963, and 31st December, 1967, (a) how many unauthorised structures were found on State land in the Jurong Constituency; (b) how many of them were demolished; and (c) in how many cases was the position regularised.

The Minister for Law and National Development (Mr E. W. Barker): Mr Speaker, Sir, 69 unauthorised structures were detected on State land in the Jurong Constituency by the Land Office during the period January 1963 to December 1967. Forty-six of these were demolished and the rest were regularised.
