The Minister for Law and National Development (Mr E. W. Barker): Mr Govindasamy, Sir, as there about 35 minutes more before we come to the Moment of Interruption, there are several items remaining on the Order Paper, and as Backbenchers seem to be in good spirits in making several contributions, I beg to move,

That the proceedings on the remaining items of business set down on the Order Paper for today be exempted at today's sitting from the provisions of Standing Order No. 1.

Question put, and agreed to.

Resolved,

That the proceedings on the remaining items of business set down on the Order Paper for today be exempted at today's sitting from the provisions of Standing Order No. 1.
