The following Question stood in the name of Mr Ch'ng Jit Koon -
Mr Ch'ng Jit Koon: To ask the Minister for Law and National Development when work will commence on the construction of the proposed new bus bay at Tiong Bahru Road between Seng Poh Road and Jalan Membina.

Mr Speaker: Mr Ho Kah Leong.
Mr Ho Kah Leong: Sir, I have been asked by Mr Ch'ng Jit Koon to raise question No. 3.
Mr E. W. Barker: Mr Speaker, Sir, construction work on the proposed bus bay at Tiong Bahru Road between Seng Fob Road and Jalan Membina will commence in May 1971. Funds for this purpose have been provided in the budget for the next financial year.
