The following Question stood in the name of Mr Hwang Soo Jin -

16.To ask the Minister for Finance whether his Ministry has now completed its studies into the operations of chit fund companies, and whether and when he proposes to introduce legislation to control the activities of such companies.

Mr Speaker: In view of the notice of introduction of the Chit Funds Bill which appears in the Order Paper today, the Member for Jalan Kayu has withdrawn Question No. 16.
