Encik Abdul Aziz Karim: To ask the Minister for Communications (a) on what legitimate grounds the Singapore Bus Service (Private) Limited has been allowed to hike bus fares when it has failed to serve the public interest; and (b) if it is fair and reasonable to impose upon the public to financially make up for its operating losses, and to enhance profits and raise the capital requirements of a private monopoly.
