Official Report, 23 March 1978, Vol 37, Issue 16 · Open in the reader (summaries, search, filters)
The Leader of the House (Mr E.W. Barker): Sir, we have come to the end of a long session. May I thank all Members for their contributions, some valuable and some not so valuable, a few irrelevant on occasions but many made pertinent points. But each did his best. I am glad that Members spoke freely and without restraint. I ask Members to continue to do so.
Mr Speaker, Sir, it remains for Members of this House to join me in thanking you, Sir, the Deputy Speaker, and the hon. Member for Jalan Kayu for listening to us so patiently during the last nine days.
