Dr Yeo Ning Hong asked the Minister for National Development whether, in his redevelopment programme for Kim Seng Constituency, he will consider building shops and flatted factories to provide employment opportunities.
Mr Teh Cheang Wan: Mr Speaker, Sir, five blocks of flats, namely, Blocks 63 to 67 at Ganges Avenue have been earmarked for demolition. Demolition will be completed by the end of 1982. A 4-storey block of industrial shops will be built on the site.
