Mr M.K.A. Jabbar asked the Minister for National Development whether there are any plans to construct an overhead bridge across Lower Delta Road for the convenient access of Bukit Purmei residents to the Telok Blangah Rise market.

Mr Lee Yock Suan (for the Minister for National Development): Mr Speaker, Sir, to facilitate easy access from Bukit Purmei Estate to Telok Blangah Rise market, the HDB recently called tenders for an overhead bridge across Lower Delta Road. The bridge will be completed in February, 1984.
