Dr Koh Lam Son asked the Minister for Communications and Information, Second Minister for Defence and Second Minister for National Development, whether the Singapore Bus Service (1978) Ltd will consider introducing a loop-bus-service to serve Telok Blangah Estate, Depot Road Estate and the Radin Mas Neighbourhood during the morning, mid-day and evening peak hours.
Dr Yeo Ning Hong: Telok Blangah Town is now served by 22 buses operating 5 feeder services. Every neighbourhood is linked by a feeder service to the Bukit Merah Interchange. The feeders operate at morning and evening peak frequencies which range from 2 to 7 minutes. The mid-day frequencies range from 4 to 12 minutes. I shall ask the SBS to consider the Member's suggestion.
