Mr Chng Hee Kok asked the Minister for Communications and Information if bus operators will be permitted to operate a feeder service between Radin Mas Constituency and the nearest Mass Rapid Transit station.

The Senior Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Communications and Information (Mr Ho Kah Leong) (for the Minister for Communications and Information): Mr Speaker, Sir, I am answering on behalf of my Minister.

Bus operators are permitted to operate any bus service subject to the approval of the Public Transport Council.

As for the feeder service between Radin Mas Constituency and the nearest MRT station, I will ask the bus operators to liaise with the Member and his grassroots organizations to discuss detailed proposals.
