Dr S. Vasoo asked the Minister for National Development whether there are plans to redevelop the old housing estates in the Tiong Bahru GRC and when these plans are likely to be implemented.

Mr S. Dhanabalan: A number of sites in Tiong Bahru GRC will be available for redevelopment by the HDB once the vacant rental blocks are demolished. HDB is working out a comprehensive redevelopment plan for these sites.
