Mr Teo Chong Tee asked the Minister for National Development whether a handbook explaining the new measures on the resale of Housing and Development Board flats will be published in different languages for the information of the general public.

Mr Peter Sung (for the Minister for National Development): Mr Speaker, Sir, the HDB has on 17th February 1989 released to the media the implementation details of the policy to ensure a good racial mix in HDB estates.

To further inform and guide the public, the HDB will shortly publish a booklet on this policy and the resale procedures.
