Mr Wong Kan Seng: Mr Speaker, Sir, the First Deputy Prime Minister will be making a Ministerial Statement and he is on the way here. May I seek your consent to have a short suspension because I think he is held up in a traffic jam.

Mr Speaker: I give my consent. I suspend the Sitting and will take the Chair again at 12.45 pm.

Sitting accordingly suspended at 12.37 pm until 12.45 pm. Sitting resumed at 12.45 pm
