ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TO THE CHAIR

The Leader of the House (Mr Wong Kan Seng): Mr Speaker, Sir, Parliament has sat for almost two and a half weeks and we all have a very long session and definitely look forward to ending the day. Therefore, the remaining items on the Order Paper would be taken up next week.

Before I move my motion to adjourn Parliament, may I, on behalf of the Members, thank you for your patience and indulgence in sitting through this long session. [Applause].

Mr Speaker: I thank the Leader of the House for his kind words. I assure him that as much as it has been the pleasure of Members in making their speeches, it has been my pleasure listening to them.
