Encik Abbas Abu Amin asked the Minister for National Development whether the Public Works Department will consider widening Pasir Panjang Road (between South Buona Vista Road and Clementi Road) and South Buona Vista Road.

The Minister for National Development (Mr S. Dhanabalan): Mr Speaker, Sir, the Member for Pasir Panjang GRC had asked the same question last year. The Public Works Department has been monitoring the general traffic condition along these two roads. As the traffic condition is generally satisfactory, there is no immediate need to widen the roads.
