NASSIM JADE AND SCOTTS 28 APARTMENTS

Mr J. B. Jeyaretnam asked the Prime Minister whether there are officers in the public sector, i.e. government and statutory boards, who had bought apartments in Nassim Jade and Scotts 28, either in their names or in the names of their spouses and/or children, at price discounts not available to the general public, giving the names of the officers and the posts held by them.

Mr Goh Chok Tong: I do not know of any officer who has received improper favours purchasing apartments in Nassim Jade or Scotts 28. If the Member knows of any officer who has acted improperly in any such purchase, he should give me the information and the matter will be fully investigated.
