Seng Han Thong

Mr Seng Han Thong asked the Minister for Finance whether our offers of US$1 billion in loans to Thailand and US$10 billion in assistance to Indonesia will affect our reserves and Singaporeans' Central Provident Fund savings in the case of a default, taking into consideration the projected economic slowdown in this region caused by the currency turmoil.
