Mr Harun A Ghani asked the Minister for Community Development and Minister in charge of Muslim Affairs when a mosque will be built at Hong Kah GRC (Nanyang, Jurong West and East).

Mr Abdullah Tarmugi: There is already a mosque (Masjid Al Mukminin) in Jurong East and another mosque (Masjid Assyakirin) in Jurong West. Under the Mosque Building Fund (MBF) programme, the current policy is to build one mosque in each area covered by a Development Guide Plan (DGP). There is therefore no immediate plan to build another mosque under the MBF programme in Hong Kah GRC.
