Mr Heng Chiang Meng asked the Minister for National Development when will the wet market situated at the corner of Serangoon North Avenues 3 and 4 be opened for business.

Assoc. Prof. Koo Tsai Kee (for the Minister for National Development): Mr Speaker, Sir, the 2-storey development at Block 542B Serangoon North Avenue 3 is expected to start operating in 3rd Quarter of this year. HDB is currently discussing with interested parties such as NTUC Fairprice Co-operative Ltd to operate the market and eating establishment in this development.
