MEDICAL BENEFITS SCHEME

Mdm Halimah Yacob asked the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance what is the number of female civil servants who are on the (i) co-payment ward charges scheme, (ii) Comprehensive Co-payment Scheme and (iii) Medisave-cum-Subsidised Outpatient scheme as at December 2003.
Mr Lee Hsien Loong: The number of female officers on the respective medical benefits scheme as at 31st December 2003 is as follows:
Medisave-cum-Subsidised Outpatient (MSO) Scheme : 20,274
Comprehensive Co-payment Scheme (CCS) : 12,602
Co-Payment on Ward (CPW) : 1,345
