ELECTRICITY (14th Mile Changi)

Mr Lim Cher Kheng asked the Minister for Local Government, Lands and Housing whether any plans are being considered for the extension of the supply of electricity at the 14th Mile, Changi; and whether he is in a position to state when supplies will become available.
Inche Abdul Hamid Bin Haji Jumat: A scheme for extension of electricity supply to Changi Village has been prepared by the City Electrical Engineer, and action is proceeding to implement the scheme. It is expected that electricity will be available to the village by November this year.
