Mr M. P. D. Nair asked the Chief Minister if and when the Singapore Legislative Assembly Elections Ordinance, 1954 (No. 26 of 1954) will be amended.
The Chief Minister (Mr D. S. Marshall): Government will consider amending the Ordinance after the constitutional talks in London next year.
Mr Lee Kuan Yew: Will the Chief Minister tell us if he has any indication as to whether there would be constitutional changes after the London talks next year?
