Mr Lee Choon Eng asked the Minister for Communications and Works whether he will consider lifting the recent imposition of an increased licence fee on vehicles used for teaching learner drivers.

Mr Francis Thomas: No, Sir. The higher licence fee was imposed after long and careful consideration by both the City Council and the Government.
