PERMISSION TO MEMBERS TO BE ABSENT

The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (3) (i) of section 47 of the Singapore Colony Order in Council, 1955, obtained from the Speaker permission to be or to remain absent from meetings of the Assembly:

Mr Lee Choon Eng (Queenstown) - one month from 10th January, 1958;

Mr Lee Kuan Yew (Tanjong Pagar) - on 8th January, 1958;

Mr Tan Theng Chiang (Rochore) - two weeks from 29th December, 1957.
