Mr Speaker: I have received a message from His Excellency the Yang di-Pertuan Negara dated the 5th March, 1960, informing me that, in accordance with the provisions of section 55 (1) of the Singapore (Constitution) Order in Council, 1958, His Excellency had that day assented to the Local Government Elections (Repeal) Bill.
