The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (2) (g) of section 42 of the Singapore (Constitution) Order in Council, 1958, obtained from the Speaker, permission to be or to remain absent from sittings of the Assembly:-

Mr Ong Pang Boon (Telok Ayer), Minister for Home Affairs - from 14th to 21st January, 1961, and from 2nd to 28th February, 1961.

Mr A. P. Rajah (Farrer Park) - from 29th January to 20th February, 1961.

Mr Lee Khoon Choy (Bukit Panjang), Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Culture and Government Whip - from 29th January to 14th February, 1961.
