Mr Speaker: For the record, I have to announce to hon. Members that in accordance with Standing Order No. 95 (Vacancies in Select Committees), I did on the 12th January, 1961, nominate the hon. Member for Geylang Serai, Dato Abdul Hamid bin Haji Jumat, to be a Member of the Estimates Committee to take the place of Mr Ong Eng Guan, who ceased to be a Member of this Assembly on the 29th day of December, 1960.
