The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (2) (g) of section 42 of the Singapore (Constitution) Order in Council, 1958, obtained from the Speaker, permission to be or to remain absent from sittings of the Assembly:-

Mr K. M. Byrne (Crawford), Minister for Labour and Law - from 17th June to 17th July, 1961.

Dr Goh Keng Swee (Kreta Ayer), Minister for Finance - from 27th June to 3rd July, 1961.

Madam Sahorah Binte Ahmat (Siglap) - from 29th June to 31st July, 1961.
