Mr David Marshall (Member for Anson) made an Affirmation of Allegiance.
Mr David Marshall: Merdeka!
Mr Speaker: Order. Will the Member for Anson retire below the Bar?
Mr David Marshall: If it pleases you, Mr Speaker.
The Member for Anson retired below the Bar.
Mr Speaker: The Member for Anson must realise that when he comes into this Chamber he must obey the rules and orders of the Assembly. One of the rules I have laid down is that there should not be any attempt to shout any slogan in this Chamber.
The Member for Anson may now come forward and take his seat.
Mr David Marshall took his seat in the Chamber.
