Mr Lee Teck Him asked the Minister for Finance if the Government will encourage the setting up of local corporations, public companies, etc., so as to enable the people of Singapore at large to participate in industrial investments in the Republic.

The Minister for Finance (Dr Goh Keng Swee): Sir, it is the policy of Government to encourage the setting up of local corporations.
