SELECT COMMITTEES (Filling of vacancies)

Mr Speaker: I have to inform hon. Members that, under the provisions of Standing Order No. 94 (Vacancies in Select Committees), I did on the 27th June, 1970, nominate the following Members to fill vacancies in Select Committees:

(1) Mr Hon Sui Sen (Member for Havelock) to be a Member of the Estimates Committee in the place of Mr Lim Soo Peng.

(2) Mr Low Guan Onn (Member for River Valley) to be a Member of the Estimates Committee in the place of Mr Lim Cheng Lock.

(3) Mr P. Selvadurai (Member for Bukit Panjang) to be a Member of the Standing Orders Committee in the place of Mr Lim Cheng Lock.

(4) Mr L. P. Rodrigo (Member for Serangoon Gardens) to be a Member of the House Committee in the place of Madam Chan Choy Siong.

(5) Mr Yeo Choo Kok (Member for Delta) to be a Member of the Public Petitions Committee in the place of Madam Chan Choy Siong.
