Wong Kan Seng

The Leader of the House (Mr Wong Kan Seng): Mr Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to move,

That Mr S. Dhanabalan be discharged from the Committee of Selection and that Mr Wong Kan Seng be added to the Committee.

Sir, in view of the additional duties of the Minister for Foreign Affairs in the Ministry of National Development, Mr Dhanabalan has asked to be discharged from the Committee of Selection and, with the permission of this House, I should be pleased to be included in this Committee.

Sir, I beg to move.

Question put, and agreed to.

Resolved,

That Mr S. Dhanabalan be discharged from the Committee of Selection and that Mr Wong Kan Seng be added to the Committee.
