AREAS ALONG PASIR PANJANG ROAD (Development plans)

Encik Abbas Abu Amin asked the Minister for National Development what plans his Ministry has to develop the areas along Pasir Panjang Road, viz. Alexandra Lane, Alexandra Terrace and Yew Siang Road, including the site of the former Pasir Panjang Primary School.

Mr Dhanabalan: Mr Speaker, Sir, the area from Alexandra Lane to Pepys Road fronting Pasir Panjang Road is designated for warehouse and industrial use. The land near Yew Siang Road is for residential use.

The former Pasir Panjang Primary School will be retained as a school site. It will be upgraded into a standard primary school site to serve the residents in the area.
