Dr Kanwaljit Soin asked the Minister for Labour what percentage of the workforce (excluding foreign workers) has no active Central Provident Fund accounts and what percentage of the self-employed has CPF accounts.

Dr Lee Boon Yang: About 28% of our local workforce have no active CPF accounts. About 41% of self-employed persons have CPF accounts.
