Dr Kanwaljit Soin asked the Minister for Health if he has come to a decision about the use of Medisave for hospice care.

BG George Yong-Boon Yeo: The Ministry of Health is presently reviewing the cost of providing inpatient hospice care based on the experience of the Assisi Home & Hospice which has just completed its first year of operations in the new premises. As inpatient hospice care is a new service, the review will assist MOH in defining the patient group who would require hospice care, and the appropriate Medisave withdrawal limit. The review will be completed in a few months' time.
