The following Question stood in the name of Mrs Yu-Foo Yee Shoon -
Mrs Yu-Foo Yee Shoon: To ask the Acting Minister for National Development whether and when the piece of vacant land fronting Block 322A, Jurong East Street 31 will be developed.

The Senior Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for National Development (Mr Matthias Yao Chih) (for the Acting Minister for National Development): Mr Speaker, Sir, the piece of vacant land fronting Block 322A, Jurong East Street 31, is safeguarded for a swimming complex and an indoor stadium. The development of the sports facilities will be undertaken by the Singapore Sports Council.
