SECOND SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES OF EXPENDITURE FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 1ST APRIL, 1994 TO 31ST MARCH, 1995 (Paper Cmd. 2 of 1995)

The Chairman: Second Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year 1st April, 1994 to 31st March, 1995, contained in Paper Cmd. 2 of 1995.

No notice of amendment has been received.

Question, "That the sums stated for the Heads of Expenditure as shown in Paper Cmd. 2 of 1995 stand part of the Second Supplementary Main Estimates", put and agreed to.

Question, "That the sum of $745,945,180 shall be supplied to the Government under the Heads of Expenditure for the Public Services shown in the Second Supplementary Main Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year 1994/1995", put and agreed to.

Resolution to be reported.

Question, "That the sums stated for the Heads of Expenditure as shown in Paper Cmd. 2 of 1995 stand part of the Second Supplementary Development Estimates", put and agreed to.

Question, "That the sum of $1,942,847,900 shall be supplied to the Government under the Heads of Expenditure for the Public Services shown in the Second Supplementary Development Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year 1994/1995", put and agreed to.

The Minister for Finance (Dr Richard Hu Tsu Tau): Mr Speaker, Sir, I beg to report that the Committee of Supply have come to certain resolutions.

First resolution reported -

"That the sum of $745,945,180 shall be supplied to the Government under the Heads of Expenditure for the Public Services shown in the Second Supplementary Main Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year 1st April, 1994 to 31st March, 1995, contained in Paper Cmd. 2 of 1995".

Second resolution reported -

"That the sum of $1,942,847,900 shall be supplied to the Government under the Heads of Expenditure for the Public Services shown in the Second Supplementary Development Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year 1st April, 1994 to 31st March, 1995, contained in Paper Cmd. 2 of 1995".
