Dr Wang Kai Yuen asked the Minister for the Environment what is the future plan for the Bukit Timah Market located at Upper Bukit Timah Road.

RAdm Teo Chee Hean: According to URA_s Bukit Timah Draft Master Plan, the Bukit Timah Market will be affected by redevelopment. This, however, is unlikely to take place within the next 5 years. When it happens, stall holders will be given either alternative stalls in other markets or cash grants.

Dr Richard Hu Tsu Tau: The total amount of revenue collected from vehicular and road taxes, fees and fines was $2,864 million in FY1992, $4,089 million in FY1993, $4,589 million in FY1994 and $2,190 million from April to December 1995.
