Dr Teo Ho Pin asked the Minister for National Development whether his Ministry will consider developing a park connector between Zhenghua Park and Pang Sua Pond.

Mr Lim Hng Kiang: The Pang Sua Pond is also known as Bukit Panjang Stormwater Pond. It is located 1.2 km west of the proposed Zhenghua Park.

It is feasible for a park connector to be built along Bukit Panjang Road from the pond to the park. However, NParks has many park connectors to be built and has to prioritise the development based on the expected usage of the different park connectors and the provision of park facilities nearby.
