The Senior Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Education (Mr Hawazi Daipi): Thank you, Sir, for allowing me to make this clarification. I had previously shared during the Committee of Supply debates on 8 March that MOE is improving our provision of sports facilities. More schools will be resourced with indoor sports halls and synthetic turf fields. I wish to clarify that these investments will cost a total of $1 billion, and not $3 billion [please refer to Pg 2328 for the Official Report of 8 March 2012].
