The Leader of the House (Ms Indranee Rajah): Mr Speaker, we do have a batch of questions from Question Nos 18 to 27 which deal with the issue of a recent study suggesting that some public officers had disproportionately purchased properties next to Mass Rapid Transit stations.

We only have five minutes left for Question Time. But as this is a matter that we think should be addressed, I would therefore like to seek your consent and the general assent of Members present to move that Question Time at this day's Sitting be exempted from the provisions of Standing Order No 22(1) so as to enable the questions for oral answer to continue until the completion of Question Nos 18 to 27.

Mr Speaker: I give my consent. Does the Leader have the general assent of hon Members present to so move?

Hon Members indicated assent.

Mr Speaker: Leader, please proceed.

With the consent of Mr Speaker, and the general assent of Members present,

Question put, and agreed to.

Resolved, that notwithstanding Standing Order No 22(1), Question Time at this day's Sitting continue until the completion of Question Nos 18 to 27, including relevant supplementary questions thereon. – [Ms Indranee Rajah].
