Mr Victor Lye asked the Acting Minister for Manpower given ongoing efforts to strengthen workplace fairness (a) will the Ministry extend its forthcoming Tripartite Advisory on Reasonable Accommodations beyond persons with disabilities, and include employees who are recovering from serious illness or injury, or managing chronic medical conditions; and (b) whether the Ministry will consider requiring employers to reasonably consider medically supported workplace adjustments before rejecting such requests or terminating employment.

Ms Jasmin Lau: This question has been addressed by the written response to Question No 47 on the Order Paper for 8 September 2026.
