Mr D. S. Marshall asked the Chief Secretary to give the number of such alleged curfew breakers who were detained without bail for more than 24 hours.

Mr W. A. C. Goode: Returns from the various police divisions indicate that 258 alleged curfew breakers were detained without bail for more than 24 hours.
