The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (3) (i) of section 47 of the Singapore Colony Order in Council, 1955, obtained from the Speaker permission to be or to remain absent from meetings of the Assembly:

Mr Lee Choon Eng (Queenstown) - from 26th August to 6th September, 1958.

Mr John Ede (Tanglin) from 6th September to 23rd September, 1958.
