Debate resumed.
3.30 p.m.
Dato Abdul Hamid: Sir, I have about covered all the points raised by the Members of the Opposition except probably one, and that is the question raised by the Member for Queenstown on clause 33, on the continuity of service of the employees of the S.I.T. Well, Sir, at this stage I do not think I would like to make any comment with regard to this particular clause as my Ministry is now having consultations with the officials of the Staff Association of the S.I.T. with regard to future employment under the Board and the Planning Department; so I cannot, Sir, make any statement now.
Sir, I beg to move,
Question put, and agreed to.
Bill accordingly read a Second time.
Committed to a Select Committee consisting of Mr Speaker as Chairman and such Members as may be nominated by the Committee of Selection. (Dato Abdul Hamid).
