The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (3) (i) of section 47 of the Singapore Colony Order in Council, 1955, obtained from the Speaker, permission to be or to remain absent from meetings of the Assembly:

Mr J. M. Jumabhoy (Stamford) - from 19th October to 25th November, 1958;

Mr J. M. Mason (Nominated) - from 3rd November to 2nd December, 1958.
