OATH OF ALLEGIANCE TAKEN BY THE HON. MR T. M. HART

Mr Speaker: I have to inform Honourable Members that I received a report dated the 28th October, 1958, from the Honourable Mr Justice F. A. Chua, informing me that the Honourable Mr T.M. Hart, Financial Secretary, took and subscribed the Oath of Allegiance before him on the 28th October, 1958. This was done under She provisions of paragraph (3) of Standing Order No. 1 (Oath of Allegiance) in order to enable the Honourable Member to attend and take part in proceedings of the Estimates Committee held between the time of his becoming a Member of this Assembly and this sitting.
