Mr William Tan asked the Minister for Labour and Welfare if he can give an assurance that all donations, whether in cash or in kind, sent to the Social Welfare Department, the Council of Social Services and various collection centres, in connection with the recent Kampong Tiong Bahru Fire, will be equitably distributed in full to all victims of the fire, and to state what steps will be taken to achieve this end.

Tun Lim Yew Hock: The answer is yes, Sir, I will be making a Ministerial Statement.
