Mr Lee Choon Eng asked the Chief Secretary, on the termination of the Constitution Exposition at Kallang, whether the Government will make available a portion of the 200-acre site for the development of a sports stadium, and appoint a Board to collect funds for, and to administer, the stadium.

Mr David: Sir, there is land at the Kallang Exposition site which could be made available for development as a sports stadium. It is not proposed to take any steps in the matter in the lifetime of the present Government.
