Mr C. H. Koh asked the Minister for Labour and Law how many members of the Work Brigade were taken directly from those registered at the Labour Exchange.

Mr Byrne: Mr Speaker, Sir, nearly all members of the Work Brigade have been persons taken directly from those registered at the Employment Exchange.
